Support around your scope

One system, one fault or a wider integration brief.

For restoration businesses, restomod builders and specialist vehicle teams that need support with a defined part of a customer project.

Resolve an inherited problem

Define the symptoms, review the installed systems and agree a diagnostic scope for charging, startup, CAN or wiring faults.

Diagnostics and CAN support →

Integrate a defined system

Bring battery, high-voltage protection, charging, wiring and controls into the wider vehicle plan, with interfaces and responsibilities agreed up front.

High-voltage system integration →

Move a part-built project forward

Review what is installed, what is documented and what still needs resolving. Agree a practical scope for further integration and commissioning.

Part-built conversion support →

Before work starts

Agree the interfaces as well as the task.

Responsibilities
Identify what your workshop retains and which engineering tasks VASS will take on.
Starting information
Share the component list, wiring information, fault history and current vehicle condition where available.
Working arrangement
Discuss access to the vehicle, its location and what can usefully be reviewed remotely before agreeing the arrangement.
Outputs and handover
Agree the findings, drawings, configuration information or test records needed for the particular scope.

TVR Wedge electric vehicle conversion undergoing electrical diagnostics and EV rectification work by VASS Technology and ChargeheadsUK

EV rectification / specialist project support

TVR Wedge EV Rectification with ChargeheadsUK

The briefThe project goal was to help bring a unique TVR Wedge EV conversion safely back to the road. As with many one-off electric conversions, the challenge was not simply making the car move, but making sure the electrical systems, diagnostics, safety logic and supporting systems were reliable enough for real use.

The project is an active rectification and development project, with VASS supporting the process of bringing the TVR Wedge EV conversion safely back to the road. The work demonstrates the value of proper diagnostics, careful electrical integration and engineering refinement on specialist EV conversions.

Working with VASS

A clear route from enquiry to engineering.

Share the vehicle, its current build stage and the outcome you need. The initial project review is free; any further diagnostic or engineering work is scoped and agreed before it starts.

  1. Tell us what you have

Describe the vehicle, the work already completed and what you want to achieve. Existing components, photos and documentation help establish the starting point.

  2. Review the next step

The free initial review helps identify the questions to resolve and whether VASS is the right fit. Further investigation may be needed before a specification or quotation can be agreed.

  3. Agree the scope

Define the work, responsibilities and expected outputs. Any further assessment, diagnostic or engineering work is agreed before it begins.

  4. Develop and test

Engineering and testing follow the agreed scope, with the vehicle systems considered together. The project determines the commissioning work and handover information required.
