Our MG ZS EV Replacement Boards are designed specifically for EV conversions and retrofits where the original MG boards cannot be safely or easily integrated with aftermarket BMS systems.

The factory MG boards are tied to the OEM BMS, making it difficult and time-consuming to adapt them for retrofit use. Our boards provide a true drop-in replacement: they fit directly in place of the original boards inside the battery modules and reuse the factory module connectors.

Key Features:

  • Plug-and-Play Replacement – Directly replaces the original MG ZS EV module boards (black = master, grey = slave).

  • BMS Friendly – Simple cell tap connector plus two thermistor outputs, ready to connect to aftermarket BMS units.

  • Sourcing Made Easy – External connectors are standard Molex parts, so no hard-to-find custom plugs.

  • Cell Tap Protection – Each cell tap line is protected by a 200 mA fuse, ensuring both module and BMS safety.

  • Thermistor Support – MG modules contain 3 thermistors, but the board outputs 2. These are pre-populated and ready to use; you can change which pair is active if needed.

  • Clear Pin Markings – Every board has clear silkscreen labels for all pins and functions.

  • C6NF Support – Includes the C6NF (last cell non-fused) pin, identical to the OEM design, so it remains available if required.

Pack Configuration:

  • The MG ZS battery is 108s, requiring 9 slave boards and 9 master boards.

  • For a 96s pack, you’ll need 8 of each.

  • Please verify your pack before ordering.
